"Pretty Legs", (name given by our nephew), the momma dog found behind Dutchman's Seafood warehouse, has had an extremely hard life; but she doesn't show it at all in her sweet disposition, open and loving personality, or adorable face! We found her and her sister mama with over 10 puppies in a neighboring trailer park to our office about 2 months ago. "Pretty Legs", the main momma, spent Christmas Eve and day with us at our house as a respite from the streets, but needed to be brought back to her nursing puppies until they were weened. We started feeding and loving on the whole bunch until the puppies were old enough to be weened a couple days ago, at which point the whole crew that we could get our hands on (5 puppies and 2 mommas) was taken at our amazing city animal shelter and adoption facility, BARC (1/5/2016). The good new is that ALL THE PUPPIES AND ONE MAMA were pulled by RPM (Rescue Pets Movement in Colorado).... But "Pretty Legs", our main momma, was put on the Euthanasia list because she has visible and painful injuries from evidently being hit by a car (cranial injuries and dislocated hip, infected leg abrasions) not to mention, she is high HW+ from a life on the mean streets and needs basic shots and spay surgery to avoid future pregnancies.

"Pretty Legs" has spent her entire young life on the streets with no one to love her and has spent most of her less than 2 years on earth pregnant or
nursing, yet she still maintains a positive outlook and sweet and gentle disposition around everyone who comes close to her.

Please help us to save this beautiful and sweet momma who has thanklessly given her entire young life to rearing her puppies, and deserves a loving family of her own and a long life of health and snuggles.

We have an individual foster hold on her at BARC, but need funds to bring her to the vet for her required surgeries ASAP, as she is on a high dose of pain pills and very uncomfortable right now. Thank you for caring!
