On Saturday evening on May 27, 2017 Ken and Susan Mckinney went down on their motorcycle trying to avoid an Elk that was standing in the road way. They are in Flafstaff,Arizona traveling. They both were injured in the accident with non-lifethreatening injuries. Their motorcycle was totaled. Ken sustained a dislocated right thumb, and bruising all over. Ken went thru surgery early Sunday morning May 28th. Susan sustained a minor fracture to the base of her skull and several broken ribs and was put into ICU. She is in alot of pain.
May 29th Susan was down graded and they both were able to be put in the same room.
With talking and texting with Ken he stated he was trying to figure out how to get them both home.
The needs are as follows:
1) money needed to get medicine
2) funds for plane ticket to get susan home
3) funds for a rental vehicle to get their stuff back home
4) funds for food, motel, gas
At this time the estimate costs are not known. But they will also need help with medical bills once the come in.
These funds are needed immediately.
Thank you from Fellowship Riders Motorcycle Ministry of Alamance County.
