The Ware Family Crisis

Hello my name is Kayla and I would like to share a heart touching story with you. My co-worker Kurry is suffering a family crisis. He lives in Tallahassee; currently going to school for his masters degree, while trying to move up within Publix to become a manager. His family lives in Orlando, Florida. His mother has been battling cancer and lost the fight on January 10, 2017. His sister, Sophia, who lived closer to his mother was taking care of Mrs. Ware. Sophia was doing all she could to help and support her, by taking her to appointments and sitting with her at the hospital so she would not be alone. As selfless as she was, she exhausted all of her leave and all vacation time being with Mrs. Ware and going weeks unpaid. Sophia held off as long as she could before asking for help from Kurry so he could finish his semester at school and not have to drop out. Just 6 days prior to their mother losing the fight to cancer, Sophia was tragically shot by her estranged husband. She was going through a divorce and was returning home for a few items, when her husband shot her and then turning the gun on himself. The Ware family is going though so much right now with the planning of two funerals and Sophia working towards a full recovery. Sophia will be out of work for a few months recovering from her Injuries and Kurry has taken a leave of absence from work to help his sister and family though this hard time. The family is in need of any support that can be given.
