Shawna's medical bills & funeral expenses

To know Shawna is to know love. She loves big, she forgives quickly, she chases after the ones that needs love, she invites people in to her life, she shares her infectious laughter and she brings people together. The last few days I have sat in the goodness of God as he shows evidence of how much Shawna's love for others brings people together. She unites people even when she is fighting for her life. Shawna went to the ER on Thursday, 3/14/24, for stomach pain. She went into surgery the same day for a bowel obstruction. Later in the day another emergency surgery was needed. Shawna has been in ICU and sedated to help her body heal. She went into septic shock, organ failure and her continues to get blood transfusions. Shawna is sedated to keep her still and allow the body to rest. She is on kidney dialysis and treatment for sepsis. We are praying for miraculous healing! Shawna is making small strides forward, but not in the clear YET. Her journey to recovery will be long. One day at a time is the focus right now. Hour by hour we are praying for small victories. Will you join us in praying for our girl? Prayer requests:

• Sepsis is eradicated

• Dialysis restores her kidney function

• Internal bleeding stops

• Full recovery of her intestines

• Complete healing and restoration of her body

She is taking steps in the right direction of recovery and we are asking everyone to continue to pray for her healing. We appreciate everyones support through this difficult time and we are just asking for some support for medical expenses and after care once she is awake and rehabilitating. Thank you everyone for the support. At 3:05 pm on April 10th, Shawna peacefully passed away. Her legacy and infectious smile will live on forever through her family and friends. We greatly appreciate the help, support, and prayers from everyone. Thank you.
