Help My Mom Fight Cancer

My name is Derick and I am starting this GoFundMe for my Mother Cherie, who has spent her life putting others before herself, which quite frankly has left her in the condition she is in today, disabled and unable to work. In addition she was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, which is incurable and without treatment she may have 6 months or less.  In order to receive better medical care and to make sure my Brother Devan is taken care of (who has Down syndrome), she decided it would be best if they both moved from a rural town to a place in Phoenix with me. After seeing doctors here they are afraid that Chemotherapy will make her overall condition worse. We would really like to seek other methods of treatments but cannot financially afford anything other than what the insurance will help pay for, so she has decided to try 1 treatment chemotherapy to see how her body reacts, then we will go from there. The day after receiving this news she was served, by her husband of 11 years, with divorce papers, something that she should not physically, mentally or financially have to deal with right now.  She is the strongest women I know and she has gone through so much in her life but this may just be too much. We are not the type of people who ask for help from anyone but both mine and her finances have already been exhausted and I think she deserves some type of break before it’s too late.

So please if you can, help her fight this cancer, help her fight this Divorce and most importantly help her enjoy anytime that she does have left, if anyone deserves it, it's her. Anything at all will be greatly appreciated; even if you are unable to donate even some positive words will help her greatly as you can imagine how hard it is to stay positive.
