On October 12th my mom was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer for the second time within a 20 year span. Her first diagnosis she was only 27 years old and had four kids under the age of 6 years old. Unfortunately she is unable to work during her chemotherapy treatments, as she works on a college campus and we are very concerned about the risk of potential exposure during the pandemic.
My siblings & I are looking to help fund some of her larger bills that have come with necessary treatment. It has been difficult to get them down to a manageable size due to the hospital forcing us to utilize the outside company they use to set up payment plans which are so large we can not afford the monthly payment.
This was an extremely difficult decision for my siblings and I and quite frankly completely against our mom’s wishes. After exhausting nonprofit organizations, grants and anything else we could find with little success we decided to go to our friends and family for help. We are extremely concerned about being able to take care of these bills over the next 6 months with more coming and want our mom’s number one focus to be taking care of her self and kicking cancer to the curb.
We are extremely appreciative of everyones support from keeping our mom in your prayers to helping us with whatever it is that is needed to take care of our mom.
Love,
The Kidd kids
