On March 9th, I turn 38.

Three years ago, I left Italy to follow something I couldn’t fully explain.

It wasn’t a plan. It wasn’t security.

It was a calling.

That calling led me to animal shelters across Europe and Central America.

It led me to abandoned dogs, sick dogs, invisible dogs — the ones nobody chooses.

And every time, I asked myself:

What if I had been born in their place?

This year, I don’t want gifts.

I want to turn my 38th birthday into 38 second chances.

I created this personal fundraiser to support the shelters where I have lived and worked over the past three years.

Places that didn’t just give me a roof —

they changed my life.

The funds will help cover:

• Food

• Veterinary care

• Emergency treatments

• Sterilizations

• Improvements to the shelter spaces

Even a small donation can become:

a vaccine,

a life-saving medicine,

a safe place to sleep,

a future.

We can’t save them all.

But we can be the difference for some.
