Earthquake in Ecuador

Donation protected
As you all know, there was a 7.8 earthquake in Ecuador on Sunday, April 17th. The hardest-hit area was the coastal Manabi Province, where about 200 people died. The cities of Manta, Portoviejo and Pedernales, a tourist destination, saw the most devastation but damage was widespread throughout the country.

My cousin Vicente Martinez Delgado and his family live in Manta. They all made it through unharmed, however they have lost everything else. Their 3-story house and all of their possessions, not to mention their business that was on the first floor of the building... All gone.

I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to help them.  They will need a new home, new vehicles (both were destroyed), and things like clothing and appliances. Please help in any way you can. No amount is too small.

My name is Mercedes Rodriguez, I live in West New York, NJ. And I am Vicente's cousin through the maternal side of my family. Due to the phone lines and power outages in Manta, my mom (Fanny) will be withdrawing the money from this account and  wiring the money to my cousin when he can get access to a bank.
