Hi my name is Monica Salcedo and this is my story .
On December 20 I has an acute hemorrhage brain stoke . I was transferred to ICU for 5 days and was send home to get recovered and treated by a neurologist and haven’t been able to go back to work , I won’t be able to go back to my job that I love and I have been performing for almost 7 years but puts on me s lot of mental stress , that I’m not able to handle now .As a widow and mother of 4 kids, grandmother of 5 grandkids , this episode in my life scared me a lot and took me to make job changes in my life .unfortunately My only option was to leave this job since it carries a lot of mental and emotional distress .
.as I am facing a new chapter and I know God will provide , my work performance won’t be the same
until I get healed and completely recover. For now and for a few weeks or even months the neurologist said I will keep having brain fogs, lacks of concentration , memory loss, blurry vision , lost of balance , numbed face ,arm and left leg, and constant headaches.
I had a second MRI today January 9 to see how is recovering with the medicine that I have been treated for two weeks but it shows no improvement for now but at least it hasn’t got worst which is good news.
On January 18 I will be having another neurologist appointment to start a new treatment .
since I am the household of my family of 4 ,my two boys that are still with me, one is in high school and the other just graduate from high school , my mom and me .
The big ones are already married and are trying to help with what they can since they also have their own obligations.
I am confident that I will be recovered soon and I will get another job that I can handle property without having my heath at risk .
Unfortunately ,bills won’t stop .
Medical bills , and the monthly bills like mortgage , Hoa, electricity etc , I have to keep paying to avoid a Finantial crisis .
anything will help at this time of difficulty , while I get back on my feet and start all
over again . That you for all your help and prayers .
Respectfully
Monica Salcedo
