Hi there, my name is Taylor and I am an advocate for animal welfare. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and have had the pleasure of visiting Kenny and the lovely animals at the Caye Caulker Animal Shelter twice now. If you've had the pleasure, you know the amazing job he does. I am amazed at how well all the dogs and cats live in harmony. It's truly beautiful and you can see and hear Kenny's passion in his stories. However, there wouldn't be the Caye Caulker Animal Shelter without the generous support of volunteers and donations.

The shelter currently feeds and cares for 15 dogs and 26 cats!!!

Kenny has been running the shelter for 20 years, while Meredith, his adopted daughter, has been helping for 10!

You may remember that there used to be a go fund me, where donating was made easy. However, those who helped run it made it there own, making donating much more time consuming as the only option is via western union.

When I was visiting in December 2024, I wanted to be able to help them receive more donations in some way. We decided starting a Go Fund Me would be the best way. While I am the one to receive the funds, every cent will be transferred via Western Union to the Caye Caulker animal shelter. Kenny and team have access to this GFM and be able to ensure every donation is accounted for.
