Wayne Childress was born on July 2nd 1954 in West Virginia. If you knew Wayne, you knew him as the sweet, funny, race car driver with all the daughters. (he was a

truck driver lol) He was one of the most genuine, caring, and free spirited souls you could meet. He would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was independent and one of the hardest workers you could meet. If he wasn’t at work he was at the shop working on his race car. Racing was his true love. However, his independence was taken away after he suffered several strokes and was unable to walk anymore. It was a rough couple of years as he became bedridden and unable to care for himself. Though he fought a long hard battle, on March 25th 2024, he finally allowed himself to rest. He passed away as peacefully and pain-free as possible with his daughters by his side. He was 69. Unfortunately funeral costs are high and hoping to have some help to offset some of the costs as some of you may know we recently lost his wife a few months ago. We just want to give our father the home-going he deserves.
