We come to you with a heavy heart asking for assistance for our Dear Friend Lorena Benitez. As many of you know she was expecting her first baby at the end of March. She was so happy. Unfortunately she was admitted to the hospital on Saturday 03/12 for a very bad case of pneumonia. She was put in a medically induced coma. Lorena was flown to a better equipped hospital. As complications grew the decision was made to remove the baby surgically. Baby Ellie is doing good, a bit small but she is healthy. Lorena remains in a coma. She is not doing well. She has not responded to treatment or antibiotics along with the trauma of the surgery. Of course the hospital stay is not free and she needs our help. On behalf of her husband Tavio, and daughter Ellie, we ask for your help. Anything is greatly appreciated. Please pray for my friend’s recovery. Her daughter and husband need her.
