Hi my friends and family. As many of you know, I was unexpectedly and suddenly let go from my previous job just before Christmas 2025. I immediately went to work job hunting for the same role I have held for over 27 years. Right now, my goal is to obtain a new job first and foremost and I am continuing my job search daily. 

Unfortunately, my industry was already a tough job market prior to my job loss, which is making finding a new job tougher than I’ve ever experienced in my career. 

I had a small emergency fund, but that is diminishing quickly as the weeks go by. I need your help and I am humbly asking you all. I need to keep my bills paid monthly (mortgage, car payment, car insurance, utilities, etc.). If I cannot with no income coming in, I am in fear of losing everything I have worked so hard to have. 

My health insurance coverage thru this previous employer also ends at the end of this month (on 31Jan26), so I would want to ensure I have some cash on hand should I need to go see a MD should I get sick. 

I am asking for help financially and is the last thing I would ever want to do. I struggled with paying medical bills during and after my cancer treatments in 2021 and had really started to get back on my feet by the Spring of last year, but then my job loss happened in December and I am truly frightened in my situation feeling I am now back to square one.

Whatever you can do to help, I would be so grateful for. I am continually expanding my network in the hopes of finding a new job soon and when I do, I will no longer need this GoFundMe page or donations. In the meantime, I could use some help. I understand times are tough for everyone, so please put some prayers, positive vibes, or whatever into the universe that another job comes my way quickly.
