Dear family and friends, it’s with great sorrow I share the news that our father Manuel has passed away Wednesday, July 2nd 2025

Manuel first entered the hospital on October 12, 2024, with a blockage in his intestine, which was corrected with surgery. From that surgery, the next week, his incision opened up and got infected. He spent months in the hospital before finally finding another surgeon to take on another surgery to re-close the finally healed wound. After that surgery and countless efforts to get him stabilized and fully healed, he took unfortunate turns within the many months he was back and forth between hospitals and ICUs before he decided it was his time to be with our Heavenly Father.

Our father passed with his 3 children by his bedside. He was not alone as he took his last breath. For those of you who know my father, he was a faithful man, a God-fearing man who loved his church and God. In these hard times, we take comfort in knowing he is now with our Heavenly Father in a new beginning, at peace, pain-free, in a new body, living only what I can imagine to be the most perfect, peaceful, beautiful new life.

As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are faced with the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. We are reaching out to our friends and family or anyone who finds it in their heart for support during this time. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be a tremendous help in allowing us to honor my father's memory with the funeral he deserves.
