As some of you may already know, my Grandpa, Dennis, was recently involved in a hit and run accident. He was playing football with my 10 year old brother in the neighborhood, when a car came up by the curb, hit him, then took off. He was hit in front of one house, and landed in front of the next. His shoes landed two houses down in the opposite direction. We aren't sure exactly how fast the car was going, but it was fast enough to leave him with a broken neck, 11 broken ribs and a whole lot of road rash. Being 62, all of the injuries have taken a toll on him. I made this page because although we are all so grateful that the accident wasn't any worse than it was, and he will eventually be able to return to good health, in the mean time there will be many more doctor visits, hospital bills, and plenty of time unable to work. I have received many calls and messages from those asking if there is any way to help, or donate so this is one way to help.
