The story begins like this:A woman [who's name will not be identified] recently emigrated from Egypt with her two young children. Her husband brought her over to begin a new life in America with him, and it all went down hill from there. Just weeks after her arrival, issues in their marriage lead to a domestic violence court case. The wife was abused physically for consecutive months. After taking action, and receiving multiple threats from her husband, she was left alone in a foreign country with the two young children, unable to supply food or warmth for them. She has been denied government assistance multiple times. It has now been close to a year and she has no source of income, aid, and is residing in a domestic violence shelter. Members of her community have been looking to help her get back on her feet, so that she is able to raise her children in a safe environment. With your help- we're hoping to raise money for 6 months worth of rent, until she gains eligibility for government assistance. Please help our dear sister.
