Tanner Shorter's bright smile that helped to lead the Empire High School class of 2013 was taken from the Earthly world on January 7, 2017.
His classmates remember him as a fun loving, up for anything, young man who loved life and his friends even more. Tanner has many attributes that will be missed by his classmates, friends, and his family.
His classmates describe him as a jokester and funny. He was always up for a practical joke. Tanner was a good listener and would sit and talk for hours. He offered the best advice. Tanner was an avid sportsman who loved all sports from football to hunting. His coaches descibe him as one of the toughest kids they have ever coached. Above all his classmates describe Tanner as a gentleman... A stand up guy that was admired by all.
This Go Fund Me account has been set up by the Empire Class of 2013 in order to purchase flowers for Tanner's service. Any additional money will be given to Tanner's expectant wife and family.
Our hearts are broken for Tanner's wife and parents. Tanner's legacy leaves our class, school, and Empire community broken from the loss of such a gentleman but we are also honored to have had him in our lives, even if it was for a short time.
