A little bit about us:
Mercury Stardust Media, LLC is a trans led company that employs women, queer people, and trans people while paying everyone equitably and offering living wages to employees. We believe in giving back as much as we get, and we keep service to others at the forefront of everything we do. We often turn down opportunities with companies that do not align with our values, or spend our own money on ventures like our 52 city book tour, so that we can give back to the 10,000+ people who have come out to meet Mercury as well as the local, woman owned or queer owned bookstores we've visited along the way. Your support means we can continue to live by our values, the values we share with so many of you, as well as grow as a company and continue to support the trans and queer community.
Over the last year, with your support, we've been able to attain many goals:
- Raising over $2 million for trans healthcare
- Expanding our company with full time employees to support our mission
- Fixing up a home for a black trans man
- Raising over $35k for a bookstore in need
- Traveling across the country to meet over 10,000 of you, all while supporting small, local, and queer owned bookstores
- Becoming a #1 NY Times bestselling author with one of THE ONLY books out geared towards helping renters
And we have so much more in store for you in 2024. Your support will help us to continue to make more educational content, expand our podcast to help more people, continue to pay our employees livable wages, support our studio where we build community and make content, and provide more outreach to organizations and individuals in the trans and queer community.
