Help the Henry Family Fight ALS
Donation protected
Anne Henry has been a dedicated and vocal entertainment industry child advocate for decades. She has volunteered countless hours educating and protecting child actors and their families, lobbying for protection laws and helping them pass, all through her non-profit Bizparentz foundation. And this is just in her free time. She also works a regular job in education five days a week.
Now…Anne's own child needs help and we want to surround Anne, her son, and the entire Henry family in as much love and support as humanly possible. Anne's oldest son, Aaron, was recently diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, better known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease. As Anne shared, "The short version is that this neuromuscular disease is relatively rare especially in such a young person, is very fast moving, is always fatal and there is no effective treatment or cure. The best we can hope for is to slow the progression and hope for science to find a cure. "
Anne is Aaron's primary caretaker and this is a disease that will prove itself to be astronomically expensive- financially, physically, and emotionally. Our goal in raising funds is to support the Henry family with any and everything they may need as they race against time. Funds will be used for medical expenses including equipment that will increase quality of life, supporting caretakers including any time off from work or respite care needed, and bucket list experiences the Henry family can share together.
Anne has selflessly given so much to so many of us, in so many ways, over so many years. No contribution is too small as we will all band together in this time of need. We know the Henry family will be eternally grateful!
