Please help release Deborah's body from hospital

My dear friend Ken lost his beloved wife Deborah after a six year struggle with breast cancer. They have two wonderful young kids of 4 and 6 years old.

The family has to pay 14,000USD to release Deborah's body from the hospital where she died. They have already paid more than half, but still need 5,200USD.

I know Ken from my time in Kibondo, Western Tanzania, 20 years ago now. Ken worked with refugees with FilmAid. We had a small and tight community of friends that was, and is, very dear to me. Ken met Deborah met when they worked with refugees in Northern Kenya. When Pete and I moved to Dar es Salaam I met Deborah, a lovely kind person. Even though we have not seen each other for more than 8 years, we are still in touch.

Please consider making a donation to help Deborah's family to take her home and say their farewells.

Ken and others are trying to collect money too. We are in communication, and will stop/ adjust this fundraiser and transfer the money collected via this fundraiser to Ken in Kenya as soon as the total amount has been reached.
