Hey, My name is Krysti. My parents, Scotty and Rita Walls, lost everything to a house fire this afternoon. My mom’s truck completely burned as well. My dad’s prized riding mower is gone. And even thought the boat was parked way away, the flames were so hot, it melted the side of his boat motor.

I received a frantic call from my mom “it’s all burning!!” I said, what?! She said, “it’s all burning down! The camper! The house! Everything!” My heart sank, hearing the frantic sobbing from my mama.

They have been working on building this house for several years, and it has slowly but surely been coming along. My parent, along with a helping hand here and there, have milled the wood, built the frame, the floor, the walls, all of it with their own two hands. They were living in the camper while their home was being built.

My mom was home alone, and tried her hardest to put out the fire that possibly started from a heat lamp to keep her animals warm. She has a bad burn on her back. From the metal falling on her.

My parents are so selfless and help out anytime they can. If you can donate anything, it would help tremendously. They will literally have to start over, this life they have built.
