Support the Mercer Family

In 2020 Tyson had a melanoma on his back removed and was cleared of the disease. A few months ago, he started to show signs of new growths and was scheduled for testing a few weeks later. A day before Thanksgiving, Tyson suffered a small stroke and scans revealed the melanoma had metastasized to his brain, as well as other places in his body. He is receiving radiation and immunotherapy to slow the progression but unfortunately it is not curable, and we are truly devastated.

We do not know how he will respond to therapies, but we do know that this journey will be difficult for the whole family, so we are raising money to help alleviate the everyday financial demands that will come their way. The Mercers will use the funds in whatever way is most helpful to them, and we will update the goal as their financial needs change. (Right now the goal is set at $15,000, but that will most likely change as we learn more about their needs.) We are so thankful and moved by the amount of love and kindness the Mercers have already received from friends near and far. Thank you for being an important part of Tyson's life.
