Hi, my name is Tracy. I am reaching out near and far for help for one of my closest friends, Charlene Nahamko. For those of you who know Char she isn't one who easily asks for help or even accepts it, so i have opted to start this fundraiser on her behalf.

Charlene lost her oldest son last year in a preventable workplace accident on November 12, 2022, almost one year to the date November 13th, 2023 her daughter Haylie was wrongfully tackled and hurt by an Edmonton Police Officer in a case of mistaken identity. Since this event Charlene has also been diagnosed with cancer.

Charlene was laid off from her job within the oil and gas industry this past August and therefore doesnt have medical insurance for both her and Haylies medical needs which include therapy for PTSD, and cancer therapy to say the least.

Advocacy for her children is the most important responsibility to Charlene as a mom and has done so whole heartedly this past year, but this most recent incident is beyond her scope and a lawyer needed to be retained.

Charlene really needs the support of her whole community and more under these circumstances, any support will be greatly appreciated.
