Quinn on Team Maine

My name is Quinn Pelletier. I am a 6'3" seventh-grade student at Madawaska Middle/High School. I started playing competitive basketball in first grade, and over the years it has become my passion. Two years ago a group of local boys, coached by my father, put together a team that started traveling to tournaments in Central and Southern Maine. It was in this league that I was able to step up my game. Coaches from around the state started acknowledging my talent and passion for the game.

Earlier this fall some coaches from Central and Southern Maine were looking to put together a select team of seventh graders. They have pulled together the top seventh graders from the state of Maine, forming Team Maine 2029. The great amount of exposure that Cooper Flagg has brought to the great state of Maine, enabled our coaches to get us a spot in the MADE Hoops circuit. MADE Hoops is the premier middle school basketball events company in the United States. It is the middle school version of the Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), which is the league that Cooper Flagg played in.

I will be competing on Team Maine 2029 in the MADE Hoops Winter Circuit. This is the highest-level middle school league in the country. I travel to Veazie and Central Maine every weekend to practice with my team. This is at least four hours of travel, one way, each weekend. Our tournaments will bring my team and me to Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, between December 2023 and March 2024. My first tournament is the weekend of December 2nd in Virginia.

I am working to keep Maine on the map with my teammates that span from Madawaska to Waterboro, Maine. But more importantly, I am working to put Aroostook County on the map and even more importantly our great town of Madawaska. I am looking to raise funds to make this special opportunity possible.
