Hi, my name is Linda and I've decided to start a GoFundMe account to maybe get some help starting over. I recently separated from my fiance of nine years and have been without a place to go for three weeks. Thanks to some people for letting me stay with them temporarily, I don't have to sleep in my van. My closest family member is 1,000+ miles from me. I'm on a fixed income ( disability) because I have recurring ovarian cancer. I'm currently going through a rough cycle of chemotherapy, and am sick most the time. I need a steady place to stay. If I can raise enough money for a cheap studio or 1 bedroom apartment, first and deposit, I can pay my rent with my disability check. I just found out today my only possession I have my van, needs service that is going to cost over $500 to fix for it to be safe to drive to treatment and other errands.
