Joey & Erika

Hi my name is Barbara Kercsmar and I’m the grandmother of Joey. In April of this year the TV show Intervention came to air an episode on Joey and Erika. They both went and completed the treatment that was offered to them. They have been clean and sober for 7 months. After completing their programs they came back to New Mexico where they are both working and renting a house in Tijeras. They both purchased vehicles to get to work, meetings, appointments and home. Since they’ve been back one of their cars transmissions went out and there hasn’t been running water at home for 2 weeks. They even obtained water through a work program but the water tank is so corroded that it would dirty the water. There’s limited cell and internet service to stay connected to their support system. So I’m starting this fund in hopes that either we can get a new car for them so they can continue to work and better their lives or to find a home for them in the metro so they are closer to work with no problems with heat and water as we come into these cold months. Anything would help their situation and be greatly appreciated.
