Jesse Hagen

As many of you know, Jesse Hagen, the spouse of our dear friend Racheeda passed away recently.

As Racheeda mourns the loss of Jesse, she is also faced with the challenging task of arranging a farewell that truly reflects the beautiful soul he was in life and respecting his wish for his final resting place to be in France. She will honor his wish, but we all need your help so that she does not bear this financial burden alone.

We have set up this GoFundMe page to help ease the financial burden of the funeral expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.

Racheeda is immensely grateful for the outpouring of love and support that the community she holds so dear here in DC has provided during this difficult time.

For those able to attend a celebration of Jesse's life, with military funeral honors, will take place at North Bethesda United Methodist Church on December 2 at 3pm.

His remains will be flown to Paris and buried at the Muslim Space of the Sarcelles Cemetery.
