The tragic loss of Anthony Godell

Hello my name is Trevor, I started this gofundme on behalf of my mother Michele and Anthony Godell.

Tuesday November 21st Anthony a proud log truck driver was involved in a work place tragedy and did not make it home that night. An event that has broken the hearts of so many people Anthony loved and cared for. Leaving us all with far too many unanswered questions of why and how.

Now a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a friend to many has left this world far too early and those very people Anthony cared about are left with many unknowns. Anthony and Michele were best friends, soulmates of twelve years with deep devotion to each other. They love each other very deeply and now my mother is devastated and shattered. To me, Anthony was like a father, someone who I loved and looked up to in many ways and the best man at my wedding just a year ago. To my daughter Anthony was Funpa, her favorite person in the world and someone she adores.

During a time of the year where we should be celebrating the holidays with friends and family we are instead mourning a tragic loss of Anthony. Now many questions are left unanswered about what's next. How is my mother supposed to take on bills and debts that they had together during the life they shared. During a time where emotions are already at an extreme high the last thing needed is more stress on an already heartbreaking and devastating situation.

We are a proud family, going through a tragic nightmare. Anything donated will go to my heartbroken mother in hopes to ease the current financial burden that has been forced upon her.
