Leo Klemms Eagle Scout project

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Leo Klemm and I'm a Junior in High School. I've been a part of Scouts since first grade. I started in Zionsville Indiana and now am part of Troop 50 in Des Moines Iowa. Currently, I am a Life Scout working towards the rank of Eagle Scout and have started my Eagle Project.

Scouting has always taught me to respect the American flag and part of that respect is disposing of old flags properly. My project consists of building flag drop off boxes and placing them around the Des Moines community. The goal is to give the community an easy way to dispose of American flags so they get the care they deserve. The boxes will be routinely emptied and the flags will receive a retirement ceremony performed by Troop 50 Scouts. I will build 3 boxes and place them at a local school, church and police station.

I've budgeted $800 for the wood, paint, hardware and other supplies needed. Other Scouts from Troop 50 will assist in assembling and placing the boxes. I would appreciate any monetary support you can provide. Thank you very much for considering assisting me with my Eagle Project.
