During the same week in September, my husband Simon Bunting and my Mum, Dorothy were both diagnosed with cancer.

Simon had Bowel cancer surgery, which was successful. Unfortunately my lovely Mum passed away 3 weeks after her diagnosis of metastatic gall bladder cancer. It has been a rough few months.

I am running the London marathon in April to raise money for this wonderful charity, Penguins against cancer, that helps fund cancer research, treatment and hospices.

Every penny donated goes to the fight against cancer.
