In loving memory of Divina Rounds

Valerie Castillo writing here. I am beyond words by the amount of grief and loss our immediate and extended family has experienced this year. My heart goes out to you all.

In times like this, emotions are high and things move so quickly to even know where to begin.

I had unfortunately become familiar with the intricate and complex process that comes along with losing a loved one this September 2023. Especially at the beginning, decisions need to be made quickly - but the most important part of it all is that the family needs space and time to grieve. Not only are you grieving the loss of your loved one, but also grieving something we wish would never happen: what life going forward looks like without them, especially when it is abrupt.

In times like this, we should come together and support one another.

With that, I am helping start this gofundme to support the loss of Divina Rounds, in hopes to allow more space for grieving. There are no words to express the ache that your family is experiencing - the world will miss your bubbly personality, kind spirit, and your support offered to others. I wish I could write more about her - I unfortunately had not had many opportunities to connect with her - but those who do know her feel know how heavy it is to go on without her.

All proceeds will go towards her memorial and other necessary expenses to support her family that comes along with this hardship. Thank you for your support.
