Hi, my name is Sarah and I am fundraising for my friend and fellow homeschool mom, Brittany Even and her family. The Even family was thrilled to welcome baby Joshua Blaise into their family on November 21st. Baby Joshua arrived about a month early, which has meant a stay in the NICU while he makes a slow and steady recovery from persistent pulmonary hypertension. His oxygen is slowly being decreased and he is doing well, but the Evens have no timeframe for his NICU stay. Brittany and Matt are so thankful to everyone who has reached out with love, resources, and support as they navigate Joshua’s care and his Down Syndrome diagnosis! In the meantime, Brittany’s husband Matt has had to return to work, with an hour and a half commute each way. This leaves Brittany to care for 4-year-old Brook and 2-year-old Fulton in addition to visiting baby Joshua in the NICU. Unfortunately, Brittany and Matt do not have family support nearby, making this time especially difficult. This gofundme has been created as a way to help the Even family pay for childcare while Brittany visits baby Joshua, food, and medical expenses.
