Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today on behalf of the Rummel’s. Milena, one of my bestest friends, someone you've likely heard me speak about often, is currently facing an unimaginable season, with hardship after hardship popping up one after another. Her father, who has been battling Alzheimer's disease for the past 12 years, was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital Monday, November 20th after experiencing a seizure and stroke. As if that wasn't difficult enough, the doctors have now discovered a tumor in his brain, adding another layer of complexity to an already challenging situation.

My dear Milena has been an incredible source of strength for her family throughout this journey. Despite the emotional and physical toll, she has continued to push through her own health needs to also care for her disabled mother as well be a doting sister and aunt, working tirelessly to maintain her entire family's financial stability. She balances several jobs to make ends meet, all while providing the love and support her family needs during what has been a quite extended season full of adversity.

The financial burden of today's medical treatments, hospital stays, and ongoing care are overwhelming. In times like these, the last thing we want the Rummel’s to worry about is the financial strain that will accompany this unexpected bout of serious health issues. Because of the love I have for my wonderful friend and her family, I am reaching out to our compassionate and generous community for support.

I have therefore set up this GoFundMe page to provide the Rummel’s with some relief during this challenging season. The funds raised will go towards medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and any additional support the family may need during this time of recovery.
