Hope for the Horn Family

Hi all, my name is Anne and I am fundraising for my remarkable friend, Julie. I could go on for days about her genuine spirit, what she means to me, and how incredible she is. It all boils down to the fact that I quite literally cannot imagine a world without her love and refuse to let cancer steal her away from us. Julie was diagnosed with Primary Schlerosing Cholangitis 10 years ago that has recently progressed into a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer of which the only cure is a new liver. While she waits for that lifesaving call radiation is crutial. If the cancer spreads to her lymph nodes she could become ineligible for a transplant all together.

Prayers are needed, hope is needed, positive energy is needed, relief from financial stress is needed. Her daily appeal fight with insurance has been a lengthy one, each day without treatment more urgent than the last. Starting care regardless of the insurance outcome has become necessary, leaving a possible six figure weight on her family's shoulders. Time away from their two small businesses to attend appointments and care for Julie also presents another extreme financial burden for their family. It’s no secret that when fighting a battle like this being stress free can make all the difference, lets be that difference. I’m not close by to help with day to day needs, but I know donating is one way ANYONE can help.
