Hi, my name is Karla Herbert, and I’m raising funds for my cousin, Patrick Esquibel. He was moved from Albuquerque to El Paso to receive proper medical care after a misdiagnosis and a “let’s wait and see” comment from his doctor in Albuquerque! He’s now in serious but stable condition in the ICU here in El Paso and we don’t know how long he’ll be hospitalized. His mom, (my cousin Holly, who is like a sister to me) is also in El Paso to advocate for her son. His sister, D’Onna is here now and will make trips back and forth between Albuquerque and El Paso as she can. Holly will also be making the trek back and forth between her home in NM to El Paso on occasion. She will be staying at my house while she’s in El Paso, which means she won’t be able to work her full time job as a nurse. While we are unsure as of today how long he’ll be hospitalized, there is a big possibility of Patrick being here until Christmas or longer. This hasn’t been Patrick’s first rodeo with an ICU experience. His medical issues are complicated and he requires the absolute best of care right now. We appreciate every single donation and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Prayers are also desperately needed.
