Helping Little Charlotte Heal: A Call for Support

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

We come to you with open hearts and a shared purpose – to rally around our dear friends and coworkers, Danielle(Stammers) and Drew Martin, and their newest family member, Charlotte. On October 25th, sweet little Charlotte entered the world, bringing boundless joy to the Martins. However, she faced an unexpected challenge from day one – a condition known as Vein of Galen Malformation . A Vein of Galen Malformation (VOGM) is an abnormal arrangement of blood vessels in the brain. It can lead to heart failure and hydrocephalus. Every VOGM is different and luckily, Charlotte’s resilience and the swift action of medical professionals led to her airlift to New York, where a specialist performed emergency surgery, saving her precious life.

The surgery was successful, and over the past few weeks, Charlotte has been on the path to recovery with her dedicated parents by her side. Danielle and Drew have shown incredible strength and unwavering love as they support Charlotte through this journey. As we extend our love and support to the Martin family, we recognize the financial strain that medical expenses and living costs can bring. than ever, we want to stand united.
