Lily fights liver disease

Hi, my name is Meredith, and my best friend, Lily, was recently diagnosed with liver disease. It came on very suddenly and we've learned that it could be in its final stages. To determine exactly how bad it is and how to treat it, Lily will need surgery soon to take a sample of her liver for testing. The surgery is expensive, but we are hopeful it will give us a better prognosis and extend her life.

She is only 8 years old and she has some big life events coming up that we would really like her to be around for. Any help is tremendously appreciated and will go directly to her medical care and support. Neither Lily nor I are particularly good at asking for help, so this is out of character for us, but she also means the world to me and I want to give her the best life possible.
