Husband, Father, Grandfather - Wilf Jones

My name is John MacDonald. I am the Human Resources Manager for the Andy’s Tire Group and would like to share some information about our valued employee, Wilf Jones.

Wilf is the loving husband to his wife and partner of 43 years, Heather. Together they raised an amazing family. Sons Brian and his wife Lindsay, Derek and his wife Anna, Nick and his girlfriend Deanna have collectively graced Wilf and Heather with 4 grandchildren. Casey, Levi, Keaton and Ryan are very fortunate to have Wilf as their grandfather.

Recently, Wilf left work to have a shoulder pain looked at. Unfortunately the pain opened up a plethora of unforeseen health issues. Wilf was diagnosed with lymphoma, bone and lung cancers. Instantly, the lives of he and his family changed.

Wilf joined Scotia Tire in 2014 as part of the Commercial Sales team at Akerley Blvd. He eventually transitioned to a much loved commercial tire sales representative for Miller Tirecraft.

As a locally owned and operated business, our employees become part of our family. It is our hope to assist Wilf's family during this time of need as he is undergoing extensive treatment to assist in the long battle ahead of him.
