Help a self-propulsion forest bathing project...

Greetings…. my name is Brian Lake, and I hope it is ok to be sending you this request, as I have been kind of incommunicado and out of touch dealing with long covid.

I am writing to see if anyone would want to contribute to my procuring a three-wheeled cycle designed to allow me to get out and into the world once again and especially into nature. This device has an electric pedal-assist motor that boosts any movement of my feet giving forward motion even from the slightest gentle pressure I supply. Not only would this get me out into the fresh air again under my own steam, but it will potentially help my nerves which are for now still fasiculating from the effects of covid, periods of coma, and long haul covid in order to recapture, re-recruit, and even regenerate neural connections to oxygen deprived atrophied cells in my legs.

Unlike a motorized wheel chair, this would not entail me giving up on my legs, and also would enable my getting effective low-stress and low-impact do-able exercise, while circumventing walking and standing, which are so difficult for me now most days.

I am already so grateful for all the help we have received along the way and feel so fortunate to be alive thanks to the miraculous care and wondrous support I have received from so many so much caring since contracting near-fatal covid in August of 2020.

Any funds will be used to help in first procuring this three wheeled bike, and then possibly adding further advantages to it like: assist bars, helper handles, lock and cable, water bottle and cage, cargo bags, or even a tow hitch and carrier rack package in order to be able put the trike behind the car to go places with it.
