Our father has passed away due to complications of multiple organ failure on Thanksgiving around 5 AM at 61 years young. He was in a lot of pain the whole year and even though he was a fighter his whole life, he is finally at peace. I do want to say that I remember my father giving a lot at church, to the homeless, and to anyone whoever needed it. That sense of altruism, among other things, is what I and my family will take to heart from this tragedy.
