Young people achieve greatness
For those that don’t know me, My name is Dillon & I’ve worked with 1000’s of children across the country from all different backgrounds / upbringings. My career has taken me into the football industry as an academy coach. Whilst previously I worked in primary schools teaching.
If you know me, you’ll know my purpose in
Life is to ensure young people achieve greatness & become the best versions of themselves.
Over the past 8-10 years I’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing, talented, funny young minds who would never believe they possessed any of these traits due to struggling with anxiety, depression or trauma.
Whilst working with these young people, I tried all I could to support them & ensure dark days don’t last forever! After leaving my previous role in a school, I want to raise awareness that young people do suffer with mental health issues & we need them to find their voice!
Will your donations END mental health issues with young people? NO but it will be a step in the right direction & will help raise awareness!
So what will I be doing to raise funds?
I will be running the ‘Sheffield half marathon’ on the 7th April 2024. I’ve never done anything like this before.
Some may think this is an easy task for me due to my sporting background but it’s certainly not! GOOD OLD ‘DODGEY KNEES’. Suffering with tendinitis in both knees, makes it’s difficult to run for miles but it’s all for a good cause so training starts now!
The pain I endure during the run will be nothing compared to the suffering these young children have most days, battling their thoughts!
Please donate anything you can. Every penny helps!
