Vet Bills From Pneumonia and after care

Never thought I’d be making one of these, My name is Rocky, My dogs Name is Juxy. We live in Vermont and Run a small community skatepark for about 9 years where we are active free and try to make the best out of life. We’ve had eachother Juxys whole life since he was only a few weeks old, he is now going on 14. I’m 35 and he’s been my shotgun buddy for my whole adult life, I don’t know this world without him. He came down with and acute onset pneumonia on the early am of the 28th of November and has been hospitalized and treated. I had to pay upfront $4479.91 for them to treat him at an emergency facility. He is still in their care and the bill may potentially go up. He was fine and lively as ever in the evening and I watched him quickly decline over just a few hours not knowing what was wrong. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and put on constant oxygen and antibiotics. I was able to pay the initial deposit but it took a huge toll on me and I’m not sure what the after care might call for and how much direct supervision he may need after that may hinder me from working. I have a large following on Tiktok and Juxy is well known and loved by my community of people there who want to see him pull through. He has the power of the world behind him and anything given here will help him continue to get any treatment he may need to continue living.
