Helping Michael

I first met Michael Lem when he opened his real estate photography business, Prime Visuals, bringing iGuide photography to real estate marketing in Ottawa. He was terrific to deal with from Day 1. Professional, always on time, with a good eye and great photos, and he always, always did his best to accommodate his clients.

As a small business person with a wife and young son, the pandemic was the first blow for Mike. Then came the increases in interest rates, and the fall off in business. Increasing debt meant he had to close up his business. Then he lost his house and his wife left him.

Undaunted, he went out to work cutting grass and doing outside garden maintenance for a subcontractor for the City of Ottawa this year, to help tide him over until he could find his way back in to real estate photography. But the contract ended this fall and he hasn't been able to find work since, though he is applying daily.

Thanks to the Ottawa REALTOR® community, he now has some good leads and ideas for work to help him get back on his feet. And his rent for December has been paid. I'd like to raise funds to help him pay for another couple of months of rent and monthly expenses, and give his son a few Christmas treats.
