Jesus "Jesse" Reyes Memorial Service and Viewing

On Monday, November 20th, the Reyes-Gonzalez family experienced the tragic loss of Jesus "Jesse" Reyes, who lost his battle with an extended illness at the age of 47. This was an untimely, surprising and devastating loss for our family. Jesse was a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend. Jesse was a very skilled sportsman with a love of soccer. He was known throughout San Diego within the indoor and outdoor soccer communities. He was also known as a friendly face and dedicated employee at the Old Town Mexican Cafe where he worked for over 20 years.

Jesse is survived by his mother, Minerva Gonzalez, brother, Victor Reyes, and nephews, Diego and Giovanni Reyes. He is preceded in passing by his son, Viktor, his grandparents, Raul Gonzalez and Diamantina Gonzalez, and his Uncle, Raul Gonzalez. Jesse's service and viewing will be held Thursday, December 14th from 4pm-8pm at Friend's Chapel located at 8955 Kenwood Dr, Spring Valley, CA 91977. A reception with food and beverages will follow at the same location. The service schedule is as follows:

-5pm: Welcoming Sermon by Pastor Augusto (Augie) Monroy

-Biography: A short biography of Jesse's life

-Open mic: Opportunity for all friends and family to share memories and anecdotes about Jesse

-Prayer lead by Pastor Augusto (Augie) Monroy

-Reception: food and beverages will be served

Everyone is welcome to visit and pay respects anytime between 4pm and 8pm.
