Hi! My name is Keiko, and I’m the founder of Young Authors’ Alliance (YAA)—a youth-led organization dedicated to uplifting teen writers and building a global community of young storytellers.

Since launching YAA, we’ve served youth writers from over 20 countries through free writing workshops, summer intensives, interactive classes, and opportunities to share and publish their work. Our programs include genre-specific courses, writing competitions, speaker events, and collaborative publications—all designed to help young writers grow their craft, connect with others, and feel confident in their voices.

I started Young Authors’ Alliance because, as a high school writer myself, I struggled to find a supportive writing community or accessible resources that were truly free and open to youth around the world. Wanting to change that, I teamed up with other passionate teen writers to build the organization you see today!
