Support the Family of Robert Pitcher After Killed by Police.

On November 25th, 2023, Robert Shane Pitcher was tragically killed by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

On November 22nd, three days prior, Robert and the family had a memorial for Robert’s son Cody, who had suddenly passed the month before. Mourning this sudden loss of his son, family members became concerned and feared for Robert’s safety. They reached out to the LVMP for a wellness check, who nominally conducted that welfare check. This lead to Robert being shot and killed outside of their family home. See news article here.

This fundraiser seeks specifically to support Robert’s wife Diana and stepdaughter Lucy following their horrific loss. The funds would facilitate a number of critical things for them and the family listed below. Due to the severity of this tragic loss, the level of impact this has had on the family is great. Oftentimes our systems are not aware of the long-term impact such a tragedy has on families and the financial stress it leaves.

Moreover, English is neither Diana’s nor Lucy’s first language. Also, with Diana currently in the process of getting her citizenship and paying immigration attorney fees, the need is great. Diana is going to school and seeking employment, and both she and Lucy need transportation support to and from school since Diana does not currently have a driver's license.

Your financial support will go to the following, providing essential immediate and long lasting relief:

•Mental health support for Robert's wife and stepdaughter (Diana and Lucy), as well as the mental health support of his mother, who watched the shooting happen.

•Immediate living needs: housing, bills, etc.

•Travel expenses for the family related to the death of Robert and memorial services.

•Memorial and burial fees for Robert.

•Attorney fees that may be related to the death of Robert.
