Fundraiser for Geoff Kegerreis

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting our fundraiser page. I speak for our entire family when I say we very much appreciate you taking the time to read Geoff's story. We know this is a busy time of year with the holidays and it's even a tougher time to try to raise money, but we wouldn't have put this GoFundMe together if we didn't think Geoff needed the help and support from anyone who is willing to donate to this cause.

About two years ago, Geoff was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Unfortunately, his options for treatment were less than desirable given the size and location of the initial tumor. He had surgery to remove most of the tumor, but the surgeon was unable to remove all of it due to the tumor's location. He has been diligently doing everything in his power to battle this disease since he found out his diagnosis and had the surgery, but unfortunately the cancer has progressed over the past few months and has spread to other areas throughout his body. Geoff's condition has gotten to a point where he is no longer able to work and is facing a lot of out of pocket medical and treatment expenses that continue to increase and will only get worse over time.

Our hope is that we are able to raise enough money to be able to help Geoff with this financial burden so he can focus on his health and not have the continual stress of finances weighing him down. We know there will be even more unforeseen expenses down the road, and we want to do whatever we can to help support him through this journey.

As many of you know, Geoff has always been a very high energy and compassionate guy who has never shied away from helping someone in need. Watching his struggle over the past few years has been heartbreaking for everyone in our family and those closest to him. We want to help him in any and every way possible, which is why we have decided to fundraise for him. We all know he would be the first person to do this for us if the tables were turned.
