Endo-Operation for iisadorax
Donation protected
Hello I am Wynter and I am writing this on behalf of Isa also known on Social Media as iisadorax.
Isa has since I got to know them been suffering with Endo, even years before I met them. They went from doctor to doctor and tried out everything the state of Norway forced them to, to try to solve the problem. They are one of the most positive individual I ever got to meet. However what we don't share online often are the bad days. Days where they have to stay on the couch all day curled up into a ball, filled up with painmeds and crying because the pain is still there.
Last year in January they already had an operation to get the access tissue cut out and put a spiral in, which caused massive pain and had to be taken out because it wasn't healing well. But again for the actual problem which is the uterus nothing was done. So they got another pill to try that once again didn't help. Then finally they got the okay from the doctor to get on a waiting list to get the uterus removed. They were scheduled for August, just to get informed in August that there are delayed and the surgery gets pushed to December.
While waiting there was nothing they could do but take painmeds and hope there aren't too many bad days. In November they called the hospital again, just to get informed since they got the okay nearly a year ago they will have to reassess again. And instead of the final surgery date they got another talking appointment. The main issue is, that they haven't had children yet and they might want some in the future. But by some doctors saying those things my partner went years and years with this pain. Not being able to work in the field they studied for and have so much passion about. Instead working in a grocery store once a week to at least earn a little bit of money, despite it not being the best for their body.
Finally they caved and made an appointment in a private clinic. Just to talk, and see how it looks like. The doctors there gathered all the medial files and were more than confused why the surgery for them got denied and denied again. Letting them know that that is as of now the only way to get rid of the pain. However they offered a surgery date in two weeks time.
We talked a lot and decided it would be worth it. Just so they can finally get rid of being in pain every single day. The only catch is that it is very expensive. And yes they have saved up money. The money they started saving up when they were a teenager already, so they could move out, also so we could move in and just. We are able to pay it, but not easy.
Isa gave me the okay to start this campaign, even if they don't want to do it themselves, because they don't like asking for help. However, I will do so on their behalf. Isa is one of the strongest humans I know and so positive, and even if we manage to get this go fund me a little bit it would help a long way. It is less we have to worry about and just maybe finally something good.
I know this was a long text. And I hope I worded things correctly. Thank you for reading this, and if you can't help financially then please feel free to share this.
