Yoshi and our family needs your help.

As many of you know on May 17 Yoshi suffered a massive stroke.

He spent two weeks in intensive care ,and six more weeks at a long term acute care hospital.

Because he needed more time to come off the ventilator he was transferred to a 24h skilled nursing/rehab facility where he still currently.

The vent weaning went well but his progress has been very slow.

Insurance stopped covering physical therapy and his stay at rehab facility because he is not progressing.

We have been paying for it and waiting for insurance to reinstate his physical therapy.

We want him to keep getting physical and we don’t have means to keep paying for it out of pocket.

We need financial assistance to make sure he gets the appropriate amount of care so he can eventually return home.

He is totally dependent on assistance at this point and may not regain further use of his right arm and leg without therapy.

We also need to get our home ready for his return home.

After a many conversations with Yoshi we have decided to start this fundraiser
