Help my friend Jimmy Combs recover from a stroke

Just recently my very good friend, Jimmy Combs had a stroke and was at the same time diagnosed with kidney cancer. His whole life immediately changed.

He was hospitalized with partial use of his whole left side. He cannot walk or do anything he was once able to do.

While in the hospital Jimmy was informed that he had a mass on his kidney. They told him surgery was imperative as it was cancer.

To top things off he had just changed jobs, so the timing couldn’t have been worse for him. Jimmy’s time in the hospital and the time in the rehabilitative facility is not all paid for as he did not have insurance coverage. Neither are his everyday expenses such as bills and rent.

Jimmy also served as a police officer with me and served an honorable time while on the streets. He received a life saving award and Medal of Honor for pulling a young girl from a burning house while taking extreme heat and burns himself. I have seen him do so many selfless acts for others that I think it’s time he received some help from us. I am asking everyone who can find some spare funds to donate it to my friend while he continues to fight and recover from the stroke and then the upcoming surgery he will need when he’s able to walk and regain his motor skills on his left side.

It’s a journey he will not be on alone. He has family and loved ones looking after him on his journey to recovery. The plan is that he will fully recover and can look at this in the rear view mirror.
